Update on the group from the latest committee meeting held Nov 07

Test passes continue with Tricia Lloyd, and George Epsworth passing the Senior Observers Test.

There is a forum for comments run for the Scottish group membership and we would encouarge you to look in on it if youre not yet registered.

Training Classroom sessions are going well and we plan for a few more, eg Bikesafe, First Aid Awareness and general sessions for Associates in preparation for the advanced test. Next date is Nov 13th.

Latest News - Equipment Update

Equipment Funding

We have a few more items still to get but essentially we have committed almost all our funds. Equipment funding is nearing closure but we have yet to decide on the display equiment screens , there is a vast range available at various prices so we are probably going to get the same type of equipment that we have borrowed from other groups in the past. One of our group Observers has offered to do the graphics for us and we have a display screen and a Pop-up display to get.

Other Information

There was some feedback given to the committee that we need to try and boost the social side of the group. Sandy's point in particular was that we are not always very welcoming on the Thursday nights so our thoughts are that we should all make more of an effort to introduce ourselves around the newer members. We are all turning up for the same reason Ie we enjoy biking and therefore lets make an effort to boost the social side as well. Comments and ideas welcomed.
